Industry: The EU Just Changed the Rules. Your Store Has Until July 1st.

If you ship products into Europe, don’t overlook this.

From July 1, 2026, the EU is removing the customs duty exemption for parcels valued under €150. Instead, qualifying imports will now attract a flat €3 customs duty per product category, making low-value orders significantly more expensive to import.

The good news is that Shopify has already updated Managed Markets and its import duty calculations to support the new rule, allowing merchants to collect the duty at checkout instead of surprising customers with unexpected fees on delivery.

Growth Hack: Use Claude agents to increase organic clicks by 64%

Here’s how I increased our store’s organic traffic/clicks using a Claude agent (30 minutes of work each week).

  1. Find the right products to target. With over 300 SKUs, I needed to know what products to focus on. So, I asked the agent to identify the most under-performing products with the highest potential (aka gap-zone keywords).

    The agent checked my Google Search Console and identified products with some traffic, but stuck on Page 2 of Google results.

  2. Then it told me what to do to get the these products to Page 1

  1. Did exactly as told, and sped up the process by using Plug In AI to fill out meta descriptions, SEO titles, img alt+txt, etc.

Trend: Exosomes Microneedling

Exosomes microneedling is a two-step beauty treatment that first creates tiny channels in the skin using microneedles, then applies an exosome serum directly through those channels for dramatically faster absorption.

Exosomes are naturally occurring molecules released by cells, carrying proteins, lipids, and acids that signal the skin to repair and regenerate. One exosome microneedling serum on Amazon has already sold around 16,000 units in a single month, generating over $405,000 in revenue. The global exosomes market is worth $222 million today and is projected to grow at a 28.2% CAGR through 2032.

3 Ways to cash in on this trend: 

  1. Sell the serum, not the procedure. The at-home opportunity is not in professional microneedling devices, which carry regulatory and liability complexity. It is in the serums and topical exosome products that buyers can use alongside derma rollers they already own. If you sell in the skincare space, exosome serums and ampoules are a high-margin, high-intent product category with a buyer who is already converted on the concept.

  2. Educate before you sell. Buyers in this category research extensively before purchasing. Content explaining what exosomes are, how they're used, and who they're for builds trust far better than product-first messaging. 

  3. Bundle around the routine. Pair exosome serums with complementary products such as hyaluronic acid, calming creams, or skincare tools to increase average order value while giving customers a complete skincare routine.
