Let's get in.
Google is handing your ad campaigns over to AI soon
If you’re running Dynamic Search Ads, this is a big one: Google is automatically upgrading all Search campaigns to “AI Max” by this September….ready or not… with no opt-out option. And the timing is uncanny - it’s right before peak holiday traffic.

So, how’s AI Max different? Apparently it goes beyond keywords and uses your site content + real-time intent signals to decide what queries you show for, what your ads say, and which pages people land on. Early data shows ~7% more conversions at the same CPA…but the real shift is less manual control, more AI-led scaling.
If like every other Shopify merchant, our sales peak in Q4, this means that your campaigns will behave differently this Q4. Expect new search queries, dynamic ad copy, and changing landing pages. If your site content is weak, AI will amplify that. If it’s strong, you’ll capture more high-intent traffic without increasing bids.
The era of manual marketing ends this May!
Manual marketing had a good run.
But the teams winning right now aren't briefing, approving, and repeating. They're directing AI agents that execute the whole strategy for them.
The Agentic Marketing Summit (May 4–8) is a free, five-day event that shows you exactly how it works in practice. Not theory. Not a PDF checklist. Step-by-step insight to help you become an expert in AI marketing agents.
Hosted by 3x Inc 5000 founder Manick Bhan alongside the sharpest minds in the marketing world today.
The era of doing it yourself is over!
Growth Hack: AI-proof your Google Ads before Q4
This major change at such a critical time of year tells us that Google Ads is no longer just ads…it’s AI systems deciding what to show, who to show it to, and where to send traffic.
Between ChatGPT shopping, AI Max, and Performance Max… your product feed + site content are now doing most of the heavy lifting. The brands that win this won’t be brands that are “better at ads”..they’ll be the brands with better data feeding the AI.
Here’s how to catch up fast:
Push your product feed to ChatGPT Shopping (via tools like DataFeedWatch)
Upgrade your Google Shopping feed
Use keyword-rich titles (not “Blue Shirt” but phrases like “Men’s Blue Oxford Shirt Slim Fit”)
Write clean descriptions (no fluff, no messy HTML)
Proper product categories (Google taxonomy matters more than you think)
Upgrade your PDPs (product detail pages as AI Max pulls from this). You want
clear benefits, strong copy, and real use-case language.
Test AI Max only after your basics work (use it to scale, not fix broken campaigns)
Weekly Challenge: Get your store ready for Google AI Max, ChatGPT and the likes in 60 minutes
This week, you’re not launching new ads. You’re upgrading what AI already sees. Set a timer for 60 minutes and do this:
Pick 3 best-selling products
Rewrite titles using real search intent (what would a customer type?)
Clean up descriptions (remove fluff, add benefits + use cases). Use a tool like Plug In AI to do this at scale across hundreds of listings without leaving Shopify
Add 1 extra lifestyle image per product
Check product category + tags are accurate
Bonus (high leverage):
Duplicate your Google Shopping feed to prep for ChatGPT Shopping. That’s it. No new budget or fancy hacks…. just better inputs leading to better outputs.
Your future AI campaigns will thank you.
Trend: Electric Kitchen Composters

Searches for electric kitchen composters have surged as food waste legislation hits more states and households look for "green" convenience.
These gadgets reduce food waste volume by up to 90% in a matter of hours. Top sellers on Amazon are currently averaging over $30,000 in monthly revenue. This is part of the "Green Home Gadget" meta-trend where mainstream homeowners trade traditional bins for high-tech, odor-free solutions that fit a modern kitchen aesthetic.
How you can tap into this trend:
The Sustainable Kitchen Bundle: If you sell kitchenware, bundle a composter with beeswax wraps or reusable produce bags to create a "zero-waste" starter kit.
Content-Led Conversion: Focus on "before and after" videos showing the volume reduction. Visual proof is the primary driver for high-ticket eco-gadgets.
Geo-Targeting: Use creatives that speaks directly to local food waste laws in states like California or Massachusetts. High intent meets low competition in these specific markets.
Till next Monday, Ada
