Animal Wellness Magazine is looking for comments on prosthetics for dogs and cats

QUERY: Science has come a long way with the development of prosthetics for dogs and cats to give them back their mobility. What are some of the types of prosthetics available now, how are they made and fitted? I need examples of a dog and/or cat that has been helped by a prosthetic. This will be limited to removable, replacement body parts, not wheelchairs etc.

I'd like several examples from people who decide which prosthetic is best suited for the dog or cat, how to get the proper fit, maintenance needed, and how are they made (3D printing or ?) Information and examples from veterinarians and creators of artificial limbs for dogs and cats will be a big help.

I also want to hear from pet people whose dogs or cats have artificial limbs, benefits and any drawbacks? Photos welcome but not until later.
